The Indian Gooseberry, known locally as Amla, is a tree that is famous for its nutrient rich fruit.

1)  1 tablespoon of amla juice mixed with honey, if consumed every morning helps in preserving eyesight.

2) Before going to sleep, take 500 mg of amla powder with a glass of water. It helps in maintaining cholesterol  levels and its good for heart.

3) Amla can also boost your immunity. Add ¼ cup of amla juice to ½ cup of warm water and drink it once daily.
Also, include fresh amla in your diet.

4) Mix 1 or 2 teaspoons of amla powder or juice in a glass of water.
Drink it daily on an empty stomach to control diabetes and manage its complications.

5) Washing the hair with decoction of Amla removes dryness of the scalp, checks dandruff and stops excessive fall and the greying of hair.

6) Simply taking one gramme of Amla  powder with a little sugar in milk or water twice a day helps in curing acidity.
